Geologists digging in the cave-sediments have found countless bones of cave-bear and other animals of the ice-age. Every year cave explorers find new underground galleries and chambers. In the cave museum the visitor can find general information about caves and cave-exploring. The cave can be visited in a guided tours.

Steam trains of the railway museum Dieringhausen and railbusses of the Wiehl Valley Railway are running through the nature park Bergisches Land. The ride in the third class starts at the railway museum right next to the turntable and leads to Waldbröl via Wiehl.

Kunstmuseum Ahlen
In the surroundings of a unique combination of three buildings from different periods of architectural history, the Kunstmuseum Ahlen presents three to five Exhibitions a year, focussing on essential aspects of 20th century art.
